Come “walk” around the virtual Montgomery County Community College North Hall Gallery, stop to study an interesting piece of artwork, click on the artwork to see it in greater detail and see the information about the artist and the piece. All while listening to a harp piece by Harpist, Betsy Chapman. There are paintings, sculptures, and photography—some of it with a keen view of the pandemic and its impact on local artists. Barbara J. Zucker, PWS Artist, Educator, Gallery Director, Juror and President Emerita of Philadelphia/Tri State Artists Equity was the Juror for this show.
This virtual exhibition is online from now through February 8th.

(Since it is a virtual gallery that you can actually “walk” around in, it will take about a minute to load. If you want to hear the music and don’t, it could be that your browser settings do not allow media to autoplay. Typically you can change that setting. Enjoy the show.)
An online Awards Ceremony for the artists will take place Friday, December 4th, from 5 PM to 6PM. This ceremony is free and open to the public. Information about how to join the Awards Ceremony is posted on the Winter Show webpage
The MCCC Gallery Director, Patrick Rodgers, encourages members of the community to peruse the pieces on display because they could provide a momentary escape from the headlines of the day. Rodgers says. “I hope people will give the virtual gallery at least 10 minutes of their time. I know there’s a lot of competition for virtual experiences, but taking time to explore creative spaces can be inspiring and head-clearing. This show should be especially thought-provoking for anyone interested in the Pottstown art scene.”
Thank you to Patrick Rodgers, Galleries Director, Montgomery County Community College, for mounting this virtual show for all of us to enjoy.
