I always knew that there was an artist inside of me. In 1974, I went to Montgomery County Community College. I graduated in 1977. After that, I studied at the Anvil Studio under John Smith and Mary Ellen Christ. I am a member of Art Fusion 19464 and have taken classes there. I also took a night classes in drawing at Philadelphia College of Art in the ’70s.
I have entered many shows at the Pottstown Area Artists Guild, Norristown State Hospital, and the YWCA to mention a few. I received awards. I’ve worked with textiles, making purses, and rag dolls. I love to use watercolor, oils, and pastels. I make note cards from my paintings, and have sold many paintings at modest prices.
Art has given me a life worth living. I feel I saw a little piece of Heaven in Art Studios. I have always kept a volunteer job in nursing homes, and mental health agencies as an Art Volunteer. My house with my paintings show a lifetime of dedication, and achievement. My style changes through the years. The reward is being able to paint and bring joy to others.
